Shri Rafal Ji

Namaskar

I have following query on Rahu

1. Whether Rahu in 3rd house always considered bad for father or are there
some exceptions.

2. What is the basic rule to analyse affect of Rahu's dristi on Jupiter as bad or neutral , if Rahu is in malefic house 6/8 or 12 , would its aspect on Jupiter would make the jupiter's ineffective in giving beneficial result.

Thanks Vinod

But does that mean that in antar, pratyantar etc. the planets tend to give their own effects usually? And I have also read somewhere that if more than two planets are conjuct the most malefic takes on the effects of the most benefic and so on. Does that work too? Also sir, you must be coming across a lot of charts so please tell us if you have observed this rule working always or are there some exceptions or conditions to it too during practical application?

Thanks and regards,
Sonia.

Jaya Jagannath!

Yes, that works. Most benefic gives effect of most malefic. Take my fifth bhava (my chart is on rohinaa.com). Ju will give effect of Sa, Su of Ve and vice versa.

The chart under reference has conjuction of Shani with Rahu and Ketu with Mars.
There is a saying "Shanivad Rahu, Kujavad Ketu". First part of your reply matches with this. However for Ketu you have suggested Ketu "himself" instead of Mars. Can you please explain more for this choice?
Thanks and Regards,
Rajendra

Oh yes, you are right. Nodes are always giving results of planet joined in Vimshottari Dasa, this is also in Parasara Hora Shastra.

Namaskar Rafalji,

Does this apply to other planets in conjuction too or just to the nodes? And do these results of the conjucted planet manifest just in vimshottarri antardasha, pratyantardasha etc. or even in the main period i.e. the mahadasha?

Regards,
Sonia.

Very good question, especially when many planets are conjoined in chart.

Normally this works especially with Mahadasa and we can use it with all planets. Thats the advise coming from Bhavartha Ratanakara. Try this with few charts and let us know.

Yes, Rahu will give effect of Shani, while Ketu of Himself in Vimshottari.

PostPosted: Wed 12:01, 29 Aug 2007    Post subject: Few Queries on Rahu & Ketu

Hare Rama Krishna

Sh Rafal Ji

Regarding Rahu & Ketu , I have read that these two would give
the results of planets associated with them -- aspects and result of planets
which are lords of house where Rahu / Ketu are posited.

My query is how the sequence of result / effect can be found.

In my friends horoscope ( Dhanus lagna ) Rahu is with Saturn in 4th house & Ketu is with Jupiter & Mars in 10th house. Whether Rahu & Ketu would give results as per Vimshottari dasha.?

Thanks Vinod
