If a benefic owns kendra & not posited in its own house in kendra then
it becomes a functional malefic or gets name of Kendrapathi dosha.

My question is if a malefic planet owns kendra & posited in its own
house in kendra , whether it will be considered funtional malefic ?
for e.g for Makar lagna if Mars is in 4th house , it will be malefic or benefic.

This query has come after reading book by Shri B.V.Raman.

No, if planet is strong or in Kendra/Kona then this is Cancelled, benefic owning Kendra doesnt become malefic, it just looses some of positive energy because kendra are the doors/Dvaras and good people(benefics) are not so good in security matters.

If Mangal is in forth for Makara Lagna then Ruchaka Yoga has arisen, and person is valorous and good at mantra & tantra.
